    • “The Early and Quirky History of Hamilton Field” Hamilton Talk and Walking Tour. See schedule below for upcoming tour dates

      • Learn about the early history of Hamilton with Kate Johnston, Hamilton Field History Museum Docent. Meet at the Hamilton Field History Museum by 9:00AM.

        From 9-10AM there will be a power point presentation inside the Hamilton Field History Museum. After the talk, from 10-11:30AM there will be a 2-mile walk (with a one-mile option) to view the former base’s historical sites. The walk is mostly flat with one short steep hill near the end. The event is open to all, with a suggested $10 donation. You may attend the talk, the walk, or both. Please bring water, hat, and sunscreen for the walk. No registration required.

“Marin Tales”
A Presentation by Brian Crawford

In his decades of scanning old newspapers to research his books on local history, author and historian Bran Crawford has stumbled upon numerous odd and surprising stories.  He has collected 22 of them in his new book, Marin Tales.  In this illustrated presentation, Brian will share a few of those tales, including the proposed prismoidal railroad through Novato, and the mysterious Black Hole of Marin.
